Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
What's Left ("we", "our", or "the app") is designed with privacy in mind. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
The data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to run the app: anonymous device identifiers, basic usage analytics, and crash diagnostics. If you create an account, we store your email address so you can sign in across devices.
Ingredients and preferences
Ingredients in your pantry, saved recipes, dietary preferences, and imported links may be stored to personalize recommendations and improve your experience. You can clear this data at any time from the app's settings.
We do not sell your data
We never sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties. We do not share your data for advertising.
Third-party services
To match recipes and parse imported links, the app sends requests to third-party providers including AI APIs and recipe extraction services. These providers process requests on our behalf under their own privacy terms and do not receive personally identifying information beyond what is necessary to fulfill the request.
Data retention and deletion
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app or by emailing us. We delete data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
Children's privacy
What's Left is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app or via email.
